FJT & The Igniters (left to right): Paul Kramer, Paul E. Snyder, Frankie Jason Turner, Chris Spooner
FJT and the Igniters are a bluesy rock band from Detroit, MI. Their sound mixes deep grooves, raunchy riffs, excellent guitar work, and lyrics that reimagine the blues themes that built classic rock. The band started as a songwriting project by guitarist Paul Kramer and vocalist Frankie Jason Turner in 2020.
Paul Kramer is a widely known guitar specialist who has worked as a clinician for Fender and Kramer guitars and a product developer for Vox amplifiers. He has played with Buddy Guy, Mitch Ryder, Mark Farner, Ted Nugent and many others.
Frankie Jason Turner is a songwriter, singer, and producer for BMG US who has over 25 music placements with clients like Chevrolet, Netflix, Coca-Cola, BBC, and CBS Television.
Along the way, they picked up drummer Paul E. Snyder, longtime hard hitting drummer in the Detroit\Downriver music scenes from 80's Metal to Contemporary Christian music.
And Chris Spooner, a slick bass player who has played with everyone in the Detroit area, that brings a spark and funk that fills out the dynamic of this band.
They combined to write an album of material that smacks of the music they love. Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, ZZ Top, The Rolling Stones….the pillars of classic rock.
The band has been releasing singles every month of 2022, with an album to be released in late fall.
And a new Album scheduled for Mid 2024
